Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work with overhead cranes/hoists in our Nuclear Equipment and Services business. Specific engineering responsibilities include creating schematics with CAD, generating Bills of Material, creating new assemblies/part drawings, programming PLCs & HMIs, performing field startup & test, working with 480VAC, tuning and commissioning motors using VFDs, creating loading calculations, sizing wiring, laying out conduit and wire routing schedules, and traveling to customer sites. Additionally, you will work with project managers to meet project deadlines, collaborate with purchasing to spec parts, and guide manufacturing in wiring assemblies. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor and involves approximately 80% office work and 20% field work.
