Job Description:

About the Role:

The Quality Systems Technologist role at the Faison location provides support to the Quality team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Represents the Food Safety and Quality Department for continuous improvement initiatives. Supports compliance within the TreeHouse Management Operating System to help drive a culture of Food Safety & Quality and Continuous Improvement.
• Conduct Consumer complaint investigations and works with Food Safety & Quality manager on responses.
• Conduct daily record review as prescribed in facility's Food Safety and Quality programs.
• Troubleshoot problems and implements corrective actions through root cause analysis.

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 2nd shift, which operates from 7am-4pm Monday through Friday with some weekend.

About You:

You'll fit right in if you have:

• relevant experience with government regulatory requirements, FDA and CFIA in food processing.
• Must posses sound problem solving skills, be analytical and creative to investigate problems in order to recommend and implement solutions.
• Efficient computer skills, strong knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Powepoint, SharePoint, and familiarity with programs such as SAP, Infinity-QS and tracegains.
