Fitter/Welder

Looking for experienced fitter/welders in Louisville areaShift- 1st Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm and 3rd Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am OT on Fridays as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESThe essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as necessary): •Perform work in a manner that conforms to company safety policies and practices. •Perform work in a manner to meet the process and product quality requirements as defined by project / job specifications and company quality management system. •Perform work in a manner to meet or exceed the productivity goals set by supervisor. •Must be able to read & interpret detailed shop drawings, understand metal fabrication and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. •Work with others in a team environment to accomplish project schedules. •Be able to work extended hours and / or off shift work schedule if required. •Must practice company values and beliefs. •Must participate in company teaming culture.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •High School or equivalent. •Mechanical aptitude. •Able to read and interpret engineering drawing and blue-prints. •Able to effectively use and read measuring devices. •Prefer basic knowledge and/or experience with computer systems, hardware and/or software. •Knowledge and experience with metal fabrication, welding, and crane operation. LANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to read and write in English.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSMust be able to prove proficiency in mathematical skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS•Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.•Must be able to safely lift over 50 pounds.Please apply with detailed resume showing relevant experience.
