In this position, you will be working on an engineering team building high-quality applications and services. To support our growing team, we are seeking a strong developer, who is passionate about developing innovative solutions that meet business needs, is a quick learner, enjoys daily interaction with business and technology teams and is comfortable with both vendor applications and custom development.
Our team is in search of someone who is self-motivated and driven. A team player that optimally works well with other engineers, product owners, and non-technical roles with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is open to learning new tech, and new areas of full stack that may include: Java, Spring Boot, Nodejs, SQL, Kubernetes, AWS, as well as DevOps practices
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Applies engineering standard methodologies to analyze and develop software solutions.

Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices.

Building web apps or microservices, and deploying them with git & CICD pipelines

Designs, coordinates, and drives high impact solutions across teams both within and outside their division.

Establishes, aggregates, and shares enterprise standards and best practices.

Conducts code evaluations.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience with making technical/architectural decisions and recommendations to support current and future business needs.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts.

Compensation Range:
Pay Range - Start:
$82,670.00Pay Range - End:
$153,530.00Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Please note that the salary range listed in the posting is the standard pay structure. Positions in certain locations (such as California) may provide an increase on the standard pay structure based on the location.
