Title: Regulatory Specialist (Food and Beverage)

Location: Holbrook, NY

Remote/Hybrid/Onsite: Hybrid

Position Type: Contract, possible temp-to-perm

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $25.00 - $29.00/hr

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Previous experience in an office environment preferred

• Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Follow existing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Responsible for reviewing all substantiation documents for accuracy and completeness

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside agencies to build comprehensive dossiers to submit

• Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers to regulatory authorities for registration approval across different markets and requirements

• The Regulatory Specialist will also complete mathematical calculations to interpret the product formulation as a Supplement or Nutrition Facts panel

• Respond to inquiries and requests from regulatory agencies, providing necessary documentation and information.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of regulatory activities and documentation.

• Coordinates individual deliverables with departmental and business objectives

• Prepares reports and other data to track progress toward objectives and goals

• Completes checklists and other procedural documentation

• Performs other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in an office environment preferred.

Previous experience in the food and beverage industry required.

Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Follow existing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
