At Devine Hydraulics, Inc, we take pride in providing exceptional hydraulic parts and repairs to our customers.

We're looking for a Service Writer to join our team in a busy industrial environment. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and advise customers on service requirements for their industrial systems and components.
• Manage customer service inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
• Accurately estimate service costs and prepare quotes.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, keeping them informed of progress and any potential delays.
• Process payments and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Work collaboratively with the Shop Foreman and Parts Manager to prioritize jobs and develop quotes.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.

The Person

• Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within an industrial setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Windows applications (Excel and Outlook) and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an apprenticeship is a plus.
• A genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
