Responsibilities Position Summary:Operates Single Slice and Multi-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs of patients body for diagnostic purposes by performing the following duties. Safe operation and care of CT equipment and exposure of patients to radiation for diagnostic information. Must be able to provide professional and quality care while following hospital policies procedures and standards. Performs all duties of a CT technologist on a daily basis and provides direct patient care to patients ranging in age from pediatric through geriatric. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license (CT-RTT) and BLS required. Certified through ARRT in Computed Tomography (Cat Scan) required. Previous CT experience required. Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of two years as a Radiologic Technologist preferred Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement ( RQI ) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
