Key job responsibilities Utilizing solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon which may have global impact. Create effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events. Communicate data effectively (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues through actively listening to feedback. Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions. Take part in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities where you can leverage your diverse perspectives to see out candidates who will raise the bar in the role. Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects through improvement, scalability, or simplification of finance tools across teams and organizations. Contribute to work life harmony by becoming a positive, collaborative, and effective influence to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence. Required travel 20% of the role. A day in the life No day in Operations is ever the same As a Senior Financial Analyst in the AR Sortable Network in the site finance team you will work in a fast-paced, high-energy and ever-changing environment. You may even get to pack a box or two Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science). 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards). The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
