Join us and experience a culture where opportunities to advance and the support to get there go hand-in-hand.Prepares for testing by properly checking calibration of apparatus and ensuring adequate supplies are on hand.Reviews patient's clinical data to facilitate understanding of why they have been referred for testing.Attempts to put patients at ease by ensuring their physical comfort and explaining the testing procedure, recommends sedation as appropriate.Administers peripheral and cerebral vascular doppler examinations, including arterial studies of the upper and lower extremities.Recommends sedation as appropriate.Administers sedation as prescribed b y physician.Performs EEGs.Performs nerve conduction velocity and sensory nerve conduction velocity testing.Performs evoked potentials, visual and auditory.Assists with training other personnel as needed.Performs color velocity imaging evaluation.Utilizes formulas to calculate test results.Monitors intraoperative studies utilizing EEG's, EP's and NCV's as indicated.Assists in analysis test results for diagnosis.Relies on experience and judgment to plan & accomplish testing goals.Cleans and maintains all equipment.Schedules patients, answers telephone, performs various clerical and other similar or less skilled duties as pletes mandatory education and training in order to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements. Maintains applicable certification/licensure.Other duties as assignedEducation:High school graduate or the equivalent with some college courses.Certifications:Registered EEG plexity of Work:Maintains competencies specific to patient population served.Ability to do work requiring attention to detail to avoid inaccurate test results.Ability to do work harmoniously and effectively with co-workers; the willingness and capability to treat patients with courtesy and tact; and the willingness to work in conjunction with physicians.Ability to utilize technical physiological test equipment.Work Experience:one year experience.Physical Requirements:Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
