We are looking to hire a positive, proactive IT Analyst/Technician to oversee our computer network, various agency projects and the technical and mechanical infrastructure of our 21,000 square foot office space.

Our IT Analyst/Technician will ensure compliance with budget and other project requirements and timelines

Document instructions for end users and assist with testing of the final product. You will communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project, and close it efficiently and as quickly as possible.

Ideal candidates will be analytical, be able to roll up their sleeves, have a very positive and proactive demeanor and get things done

IT Analyst/Technician responsibilities include:

Constant upgrade of our network and technical capabilities of our office space, the no #1 aspect of the job

Keeping computer hardware fully functional

Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications.

Working with our IT Solutions provider to insure the speed, safety and efficiency of our network.

Responsibilities:

Project Multitasking and getting projects completed quickly and professionally is essential

The ability to get land the plane on projects in an effective and efficient way is essential

This position is a part of the Project Management Office and will assist in projects across agency disciplines. Working with project personnel, vendors and end users regarding project requirements.

Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.) ensuring that computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) is highly functional

Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications

Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance including the meticulous configuration of wiring.

Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems

Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment

Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work

Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

Constantly review and vet ways to enhance performance of our software and systems along with constantly researching new software to upgrade our efficiency and capabilities.

We have engineered our client dashboards in Google Data Studio. Our candidate will have a high-level knowledge of Google Data Studio. This is an essential aspect of the position.

A functional knowledge of Zapier and API integrations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication ability

Outstanding organizational and time-management skills

In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks

Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
