**Mission**

The Consulting & Systems Integrator (C&SI) partner team accelerates Databricks growth by building and managing relationships with the leading professional services companies who help customers successfully adopt and gain value with our platform.

The role of C&SI Partner Sales Manager is our teams first point of contact with i) account teams and ii) C&SI partners in the East region. This leader will be responsible for helping account teams develop territory and account plans with partners as well as qualifying and advancing partner opportunities. They will also be accountable for developing relationships with local Global / National / Regional SI Partner teams operating at accounts in the region and new Regional SI Partners as needed.

**The impact you will have:**

* Materially accelerate Databricks customer adoption and time to value with C&SI Partners in the Americas East region (primarily measured by consumption)

* Establish healthy and sustainable relationships with the local C&SI partner teams that are important to our customers in the Americas East region

* Maintain trust and collaboration with sales leaders and supporting teams including clear strategy, planning, and accountability for partner activities in the region

* **Planning:** determine the key C&SI relationships within your region; work with partners and regional sales leaders to develop and execute plans that produce mutually beneficial and meaningful relationships

* **Sales Readiness and Execution:** drive sales readiness, opportunity qualification and advancement with C&SI partners in collaboration with account teams

* **Partner Success:** drive partner practice and skills development with enablement programs and delivery excellence resulting in high customer and partner satisfaction across the customer adoption lifecycle

* **Good Governance:** work with each partner to ensure the right governance with each relationship, including agreements, executive relationships and processes

* **Promoting The Platform**: work with C&SI partners to establish Databricks Lakehouse architecture as the de facto standard for big data and AI in their reference architectures, client solutions, industry offerings and big data/analytics/AI platforms with supporting internal promotion and marketing activities

* **Working as a Team:** work with account executives, sales management, solution architects, field marketing and operations to evaluate, explore and execute partnership opportunities; be adept at influencing others, both externally and internally; ability to work effectively and build consensus across various functional groups to achieve goals; collaborate with Cloud partners (e.g. AWS, Azure and GCP) and relevant software partners to align in support of customer opportunities

* **Experience:** 5+ years of experience in business development at a top technology or other market leading company, preferably in big data, AI, or cloud (i.e. Consulting & SI partner
