Summary

This is a critical position responsible for delivering all aspects of the Supplier Quality Assurance function on an on-going basis in line with the Quality Management System and Quality Policy. This function ensure that the business' products and services are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations emphasizing on defect prevention, reduction, turn time and quality standards. This will minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality Analyst is responsible for conducting internal audits, assisting with the development and improvement of Quality procedures and process to ensure they meet both regulatory, ISO and customer requirements in addition to the following duties below.
  • Supplier Management responsible for monitoring the performance of suppliers while identifying potential issues to improve quality and efficiency.
  • In addition, manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues and as required perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
  • Where appropriate work with the supplier directly, create corrective action plans to address process failures.
  • Lead quality audits for suppliers as necessary to ensure compliance to PWES requirements.
Additional Information:
  • There is up to 25% travel for this role.
  • Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Supplier Management; OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; OR High School diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree
  • Knowledge of FAR 145 Quality requirements
  • Experience as an Auditor and AS9110
  • Aftermarket MRO experience
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
