As an Engineer in Training, you will be responsible for applying basic knowledge and general engineering concepts to size, evaluate, select, and specify electrical power, lighting and/or auxiliary systems for use on assigned projects. Your Capabilities and CredentialsUnderstanding of AutoCad, and the use of it as an electrical design tool.Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material.Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback and suggestions from Senior Engineers / Designers.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.Co-op / internship experience preferred.Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and SurveyingTypical office environment, working with computers and drawings for long periods of time.
