Company DescriptionJob DescriptionThis is a Principal Design Engineer position for a qualified individual to work in Renesas' Precision Hi-Rel and Space product line. Primary role is transistor level design of power management products. However, the candidate will contribute to all aspects of development from product conception to production release.Candidates should have experience in power management and analog integrated circuit architectures, analysis, design and simulation with a proven track record of delivering high quality silicon on time and within cost targets.Candidate will also be responsible for design documentation, silicon evaluation, circuit debugging, production test development support, customer and applications support. He/she will also be involved in the specification of technology requirements for future productsQualifications•Proven track record of leading designs and creating successful products•Proven experience in power management circuits, various switch-mode power supply architectures; buck and boost regulators, bridge drivers, LDO's •Proven experience in high precision analog integrated circuit design - amplifiers, ADCs, comparators, regulators, oscillators and references.•Solid experience and understanding of CMOS and BiCMOS process technologies and circuit design.•Experience in radiation hardened circuit design and analysis is a plus•Proficient in circuit and system simulation tools (Cadence, Matlab) and Office Environment Software•Experience with mixed-signal simulation in the cadence AMS environment.•Experience and capable with lab evaluation•Analog Behavioral modeling in Verilog-A or Verilog-AMS.•Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills•Highly Motivated and Creative Individuals preferredAdditional InformationRenesas Electronics Corporation empowers a safer, smarter and more sustainable future where technology helps make our lives easier.
