Location: Jersey City (Hybrid) Experience Level: 8+ Years Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to lead strategic and operational initiatives for a top-tier insurance client. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with hands?on project management expertise, including roadmap planning, financial management, change enablement, and stakeholder communication. Youll be responsible for driving results in a complex, cross?functional, and multi?vendor environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage strategic project roadmaps aligned with business goals and priorities. Lead full project lifecycle activities from initiation to successful delivery ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are met. Oversee financial planning and budgeting, including cost estimation, forecasting, and variance management. Track project budgets, control costs, and optimize resources to deliver measurable business value. Collaborate with finance teams on spend tracking, ROI reporting, and benefit realization. Drive organizational change management for smooth adoption of new tools, processes, and systems. Facilitate collaboration across business, technology, and operations teams. Manage relationships with multiple vendors to ensure accountability and cohesive delivery. Identify, assess, and mitigate project and financial risks while ensuring governance and compliance. Prepare executive?level reports and presentations for leadership updates. Support business case development with cost?benefit and scenario analyses. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Management (MBA preferred). 8+ years of experience in business project management within insurance, financial services, or consulting sectors. Proven track record in project financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting. Strong experience in roadmap planning, change management, and stakeholder governance. Demonstrated success managing large?scale, multi?vendor projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Power BI, and Excel. Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
