Maintenance Equipment Technician Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Equipment Technician at MINNETONKA, Minnesota - 55345. As a Maintenance Equipment Technician, you will: Respond to assembly line equipment repair calls; diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs. Maintain and modify production equipment using technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools, and test equipment. Document equipment qualifications, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and parts usage in the MP2 maintenance database. Maintain spare equipment and parts inventory to ensure manufacturing operations are uninterrupted. Assist industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers with equipment operation and troubleshooting. Provide feedback to equipment development engineers to improve uptime and operational efficiency. Assist in constructing worktables, providing utilities, and setting up equipment on assembly lines. Modify existing assembly lines or workstations to accommodate manufacturing needs. Plan and organize project assignments, making independent decisions and proposing creative solutions. Apply knowledge of complex technical concepts to perform assignments in a quality system environment. Troubleshoot and recommend continuous improvements for equipment, processes, and work methods. This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity. Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday/ 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM) The Ideal Candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent required. Extensive knowledge of complex technical concepts and production equipment systems. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications. Familiarity with quality system environments and compliance with regulatory standards. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions impacting production. Strong technical documentation skills for tracking equipment maintenance and modifications. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers and operators. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to propose improvements to processes and equipment. Minimum 2 years' experience.
