Staffing Recruiter

Location: Lansing

Pay: based on experience

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday, In office

A Recruiter will evaluate, schedule, and conduct interviews with job applicants. They will also create and maintain client relationships in a variety of industries.
* Keeping logs or checklists for timely follow up with candidates and clients
* Creating and maintaining healthy communication and relationships with clients on all levels
* Take immediate appropriate actions on all communications including verbal and written correspondence.
* Maintains the database and implements changes in records and documentation
* Answers employee questions and troubleshoots issues
* Schedules and onboards new employees by collecting new-hire paperwork and entering employee data
* Supports positive employee relations
* Initiating job offers and terminations as needed
* Social Media interaction on several sites
* Professional written and verbal correspondence
* Assist in maintaining daily calendars

Staffing Recruiter Qualifications and Requirements
* Outstanding level of energy and noble personality
* Previous client interaction and sales experience
* Ability to work with the public in public
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Must be a self-starter, resourceful and motivated to see the bottom line
* Familiarity with utilizing social media to reach clients and candidates
* A professional demeanor is a must
* The ability to multi-task and process information on multiple levels with a sense of urgency
* Experience working heavily in a database and on the phone
* Proven administrative skills
* Excellent time management
* High attention to detail, organized, accurate and dependable
* Prior Human Resource and/or recruiting/staffing experience
