Job Overview: The National Sales Account Manager is a key position for our client, responsible for managing existing customer accounts and identifying new business opportunities within these accounts in the automotive lubricants and chemicals sector. This role is crucial for maintaining client relationships, driving sales growth, and meeting sales targets through strategic planning and exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients in the wholesale and manufacturing sectors. Implement sales strategies for an assigned region or industry to maximize sales volume and profitability. Apply product knowledge effectively to match our offerings with client needs. Manage negotiations on pricing, sales terms, and service agreements. Prepare and present quotes, contracts, and order details to clients. Ensure accuracy in order processing and distribution. Report on sales results, account statuses, and market opportunities regularly. Proactively communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and manage post-sale relationships. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales leads and opportunities. Requirements Include: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred. Experience: Minimum of five years in sales, with a proven track record in the automotive or related industry. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, adept at sales and negotiation, proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive lubricants and chemicals. Key Competencies: Relationship management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and customer orientation. Additional Information: Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to meet with clients or potential clients. Work Environment: This role primarily involves desk work but also requires travel and on-site client interactions.
