SENIOR LOGISTICS ANALYST SUMMARY The Senior Logistics Analyst will devise a tactical and strategic plan in partnership with VP of Logistics and Trade; lead and manage a project-based logistics management program establishing new guidelines and SOPs; project-budgeting, establishing/maintaining vendor relationships, and overall Project Management. In addition, ensured success will be dependent on being able to effectively influence departments and drive project tasks to completion.

SUPERVISORY REPONSIBILITIES : This role will have no direct reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Establish and deliver predictable and reliable lead and transit times Transit matrix and service levels Establish vendor routing guides including compliance Manage all technical details of international transportation, ex: multiple modes of moving freight; complex documentation; customs regulations Lead the change management from manual environment to a system driven environment Create a logistics network to achieve the budget goal and deliver a high level of quality capacity and service Build relationships with logistics partners -ex. freight forwarders, ocean/air/domestic networks Negotiate with carriers and forwarders Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators Perform data analytics and tailor value propositions, ex: network optimization, drive annual RFP calendar, rate negotiations, load and container utilization, vendor management metrics Manage budget and track spending for related activities Collaborate on sales plans and provide logistics expertise Other responsibilities as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5 - 10 years of related work experience in Supply Chain project management with focus on logistics; global LSP implementations; data integration set ups such as EDI and ASNs; ocean RFP process and steamship line management; landed cost and finance and accounting requirements Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field Existing/established global network of agents, affiliations, and partnerships Knowledge of domestic/international shipping required, ex.: small parcel, LtL and TL ocean & air, mid and large-size global freight forwarding companies Experience with Sales Pad. ERP GP, LSP portals, and FA&P systems; advanced experience in excel, PowerPoint, and power BI tools.
