Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the corporate accounting department, client accounting and FP&A teams ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports and managing various financial activities critical to our operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of finance function including Client accounting, Corporate Accounting, FP&A and Treasury functions. Work collaboratively with COO and other senior officers of the executive team; Have strong influence on operational aspects of the company. Oversee the monthly financial close process, including the development of the monthly financial reporting package and related MD&A. Coordinate the identification and implementation of common systems and processes across all markets. Lead certain aspects of the M&A and diligence process. Growth and prioritize capital strategies and maintain the overall balance sheet with a strong focus on cash flow conversion and optimization. Lead all banking aspects with primary lender and primary banking partner. Develop and maintain a weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting process. Integrate acquired company financial information and processes into the existing platform. Maintain working relationships with the external audit and tax firm to ensure audit and tax deadlines are met. Fulfill other management and external reporting requirements such as KPI, unit count reporting, quarterly reports to shareholders, etc. Actively participate in Corporate and other leadership meetings using current and historical financial performance to provide a national perspective. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation is a plus. Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and leadership roles. In-depth knowledge of property management accounting practices and affordable housing regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness. Experience managing a team is essential. Leadership/Supervisory This is a direct supervisory position. Ability to manage multiple direct and indirect reports is required. Physical & Environmental While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard. Light and moderate lifting is required.
