In this role, you'll be the go-to person for our day-to-day field operations, overseeing a team and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. You'll wear many hats, from scheduling jobs and dispatching crews to conducting safety inspections and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Answer incoming calls for scheduling and utility locates, then coordinate and dispatch the right crew with the right equipment to each job site, keeping everything on track with operational capabilities.
  • Provide strong leadership to your team, conducting performance evaluations, offering feedback, and addressing any issues promptly following company procedures.
  • Lead and attend safety meetings, enforcing protocols to create a safe working environment for everyone.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of timesheets, GPS reports, work orders, and safety documents to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions with the Operations Manager's support.
  • Work closely with both field employees and the office staff to address customer concerns and proactively deliver excellent service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and project management software is a plus.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the construction industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
