About the job Microstrategy Architect

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of the semantic layer from Pybricks to Microstrategy, including the conversions of Data Models, Attributes, Metrics and hierarchies.
  • Design and Develop Data Models, schemas and architecture in Microstrategy to support complex business analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers to understand data sources and business requirements.
  • Optimize Microstrategy performance by fine tuning queries, optimizing data storage and implementing best practices for data modelling and schema design.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualization in Microstrategy, leveraging advanced features such as drilling, filtering and dynamic content to enable intuitive data exploration and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards and guidelines for Microstrategy developments and deployment ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to end users and business analysts on Microstrategy functionality, data modelling concepts and best practices for data visualization and analysis.
  • Develop and Maintain Microstrategy Report, Document and Dashboard in Design, document and Editable mode.
  • Knowledge in creating and integrating MSTR object using Attributes, Metrics, filters, Intelligence Cubes and logical functions.
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelors/master's degree in computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply.
  • Experience with migrating semantic layer from other BI platforms to Microstrategy is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with Microstrategy platform including data modelling, schema design, report development and dashboard creation.
  • Insurance Industry knowledge good to have.
  • 8-12 years relevant experience preferably in analytics
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges.
  • Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe.
