Job Description

Works with dealers and customers to ensure they have all the necessary parts to build and repair their boats.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Removes packing slip and forwards to purchasing department for processing.
•Pulls parts for kits.
•Ships parts out nationally and internationally
•Receives parts when they are delivered.
•Unloads and loads trucks.
•Unpacks, stocks parts, and puts them in appropriate locations.
•Document items that are low in stock.
•Provides parts to production personnel.
•Delivers packages to office personnel.
•Inspects all parts before shipping to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards.
•Helps with inventory counting.
•Keep the work area clean and orderly.
•Any other duties as assigned by management.
•Must comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience include but is not limited to the following:

•Must be able to operate a forklift.
•Must have experience with inventory counting.
•Must have experience in customer service.
•Knowledge of computer systems and databases.
•Follow the instruction of the Supervisor/foreman/lead when doing miscellaneous duties.
•Be able to read orders and identify missing or defective parts.
•Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
•Knowledge of machines and tools.
•Must be a licensed driver with good driving record (subject to MVR)

Physical and Work Requirements:

•Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
•Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
•Must be able to climb into and out of the interior of boats.
•Must be able to wear proper safety equipment as needed.
•Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary.
•The ability to see details at close range.
•Be able to use and maintain small hand tools (grinder, scraper, razor knife, blower, etc.)
•Must have a valid driver's license.
•This is a safety-sensitive position.
