Position Summary:
As the Warehouse Powered Industrial Lift Operator, you will drive standup and sit down electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as a forklift, boom lift, lift beam, elevating platform of hitch to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move product in/out of the warehouse. May be required to supply workers with materials and supplies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
2.
* Positions forks under loaded pallets or tote boxes and transports load to designated area.
3.
Unloads and stacks material by raising or lowering lifting device.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
* Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training
* Have or be able to obtain McCain Forklift Certification and McCain Aerial Lift Certification
* Have the ability to obtain knowledge of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) database
* Computer, language, and mathematical skills
Physical Demand:
Constant: Stand.
Frequently: Use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Occasionally: Walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
