Staffmark is currently hiring a HR Administrative Assistant in Van Wert, OH. Pay: $18-$20/hr (based on experience)
Hours: 1st shift, Monday-Friday
As a HR Administrative Assistant, you will manage phone calls, greet visitors, and organize meetings. You'll handle correspondence, maintain filing systems, and track training and certification records. You'll assist with new hire onboarding, employee recognition events, and surveys, as well as update the safety board with relevant information. Additionally, you'll support the Plant Safety Committee and help maintain the Intelex system for safety programs, while also providing general administrative support as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Preferred: Associate degree or higher, bilingual (English/Spanish)
