The Opportunity: Do you want to work at the forefront of advanced technology and solve complex data challenges? As a data analyst, you have the chance to analyze, organize, and synthesize data into meaningful insights. Here, you'll work with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers to build an enterprise-scale data lake house platform. You will bring your expertise in data analysis to aid the team in delivering the whole lifecycle of data from ingestion to transformation to insights. As a junior member of the team, you will work closely with both the engineering and requirements teams to assess potential data sources, determine how best to distill value and help answer questions through ad-hoc and curated data products. What's more, you'll have the chance to grow Booz Allen's DataOps and MLOps capabilities. You will bring your keen sense of curiosity and your initiative to bear as you sharpen your skills in analytical exploration and grow the team's understanding of critical cybersecurity, user experience, and IT operations domains. You Have: 2+ years of experience with utilizing programming languages, including C++, Java, or Python 2+ years of experience with utilizing SQL to query and interact with databases 2+ years of experience with developing structured data products using software tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, or R Experience with creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, and monitor and operate data platforms HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with using Databricks or notebook-based data analysis platforms Experience with a public cloud, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications Experience in cybersecurity, threat hunting, IT operations, IT service management, IT help desk Experience with modeling relationships between data tables Experience with Agile engineering practices Create Your Career: Grow With Us Your growth matters to us-that's why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
