* Food Runners create a welcome and tidy environment for customers. Cleans, maintains, and stocks the side stations for the theater, restaurant, and all other areas. Position involves delivering food and beverages to guests, and cleaning guest areas after they depart. Candidates should be skilled in communication and teamwork, as this position requires accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements Essential Functions

* Greet customers in a welcoming manner.

* Provide excellent customer service.

* Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers tables rapidly and accurately.

* Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.

* Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed.

* Remove dirty dishes and utensils.

* Assist the wait staff with guest requests such as fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.

* Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies).

* Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature).

* Watches for safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports to management.

* Understands and complies with state liquor laws and Cinema West policies with regard to alcohol service.

* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Available to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

* Requires regular and consistent attendance.

* Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities. Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend in English.

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and to be able to move quickly in a fast pace environment.

* Requires the ability to occasionally lift and clean popcorn kettle, shelving, warmers, butter machines, hot dog and other food preparation equipment, and soft drink equipment.

* Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.

* Stock shelves, counters with incoming product, plates, cups, dinning ware etc.

* Must complete a Safe Beverage Service and Food Handlers training program and meet the age requirement for alcohol service is required.

Work Environment

This job operates in a movie theater and restaurant environment, sometimes the theater is with limited lighting, with guests coming and going. The pace can be fast, but must always be welcoming. And willing to serve our guests This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting all day. Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull at least 50 pounds.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or G.E.D., or currently enrolled

Previous retail, restaurant or customer service experience preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
