Ophthalmic Technician | Ophthalmology Group | NYC

Exciting Opportunity at MSK:

The Ophthalmology Group at MSK is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team

Role Overview:
Perform specific technical ophthalmologic diagnostic procedures and tests under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or the attending ophthalmologist. Tests include visual acuity, fundus photography, OCT scans, visual field testing, slit lamp photography, ultrasound and UBM scans
You will also carry out additional activities necessary to provide for the personal needs, comfort and safety of patients and their families
Maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment and orient patients and families to the clinical area
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience with ophthalmic procedures and ability to perform basic math functions required
COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) preferred
Excellent communication and Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Information:
Location: 160 East 53rd Street, New York, NY
Shift: 8-hour flex shift 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm; Monday through Friday
Pay Range:

$28.42-$44.00
