Position DescriptionIf you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the United States Navy - Serco has a great opportunity for you This Lead Waterfront Integrator position will be on a dynamic team responsible for developing and testing unmanned vehicle systems at our customer sites in the Norfolk, Virginia area. Serco supports the US Navy in the acquisition of new technology used to defend our nation. This position will be performed primarily at Naval Station Norfolk in an office environment and on the waterfront, with hands on test assets. The applicant will also be required to perform underway on small Navy craft.You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to conduct important test and evaluation events. The Serco team supports Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division (CD) Code 80. As the Lead Waterfront Integrator for our US Navy autonomy control systems program, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration, testing, evaluation, and quality assurance/quality control of autonomy software across various naval surface vessel platforms. This critical role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring software functionality, and adhering to stringent US Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) standards. In this role, you will:Support software and test engineers to manage autonomy related hardware/software installations, versionings, and configurations on any USV platform our team is supporting.At any given time, report status and configuration details of an asset to our software and test engineers. Ensure that USVs scheduled for on-water action will be ready with respect to the autonomy-related hardware and software.Lead the integration efforts of autonomy control systems onto naval surface vessels, including 11 meter RHIBS, GARCs, HSMSTs, and other designated

thorough testing and evaluation of autonomy software to ensure compliance with Navy and DoD standards and requirements.Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software integration issues.Implement quality assurance and quality control measures throughout the integration process to ensure software reliability and performance.Develop and maintain documentation related to integration procedures, test plans, and evaluation reports.Coordinate with Navy stakeholders and participate in technical reviews, on water workups, and

technical expertise and guidance to junior integration and quality control/quality assurance team members.Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving project requirements and priorities.Willingness to travel as needed to support integration activities at naval facilities and testing sites.Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and safety in all aspects of the job.Adherence to strict security protocols and confidentiality requirements in handling sensitive information related to Navy projects.Ability to serve onboard small watercraft operated at high speeds in rough water and must be physically able and conditioned to endure the rigors of test operations on
