Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our software operates to meet the demands of our customers. The Facility Operations Asset Management & Reliability team supports our data centers by developing standardized processes and procedures, including a global assessment management system, to ensure maximum readiness of equipment and operating systems. The ideal candidate for this role will need to be experienced in asset lifecycle management, program management, and leading complex programs with cross-functional teams.Data Center Facility Operations Asset Lifecycle Program Lead ResponsibilitiesLeads the development, improvement, and implementation of cross-functional programs and processes related to asset lifecycle managementAs a program lead, be the primary driver of the lifecycle management processes for critical infrastructure to plan, develop and execute lifecycle refurbishment projectsSupport long-range planning for our data centers by identifying and addressing equipment end-of-life driven by aging, obsolescence, or business needsWork with sourcing/contracting teams to develop relationships with OEMs to help identify risks to critical equipment due to obsolescenceDevelop processes for major equipment condition and risk assessmentAnalyze operational and maintenance experience to identify long-term risks to critical infrastructure and develop scalable solutionsIn collaboration with cross-functional data center teams, support efficient planning of lifecycle maintenance activities and projects that require equipment shutdowns to minimize impact on redundancy and availabilityEnsure consistency and use of best practices across data centers using global standards and processes in various aspects of lifecycle planningWork with engineering and project management teams to ensure LCM projects are developed and executed in a consistent manner across our data centersProvide timely communications with cross-functional partners at DC sites and global teams to share lessons learnedSupport capital planning processes by providing timely and accurate inputs regarding infrastructure refurbishment projectsSupport and drive the development and improvement of applicable global standardsApproximately 25% travel requiredMinimum Qualifications10+ years of experience in asset management of infrastructureExperience in leading complex programs and work with cross-functional teams with minimal directionTrack record of thinking strategically and executing tacticallyExperience in program management and deploymentExperience supporting site teams in a responsive and resourceful mannerExperience providing solutions to large-scale projectsExperience communicating effectivelyPreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical or industrial) or construction managementAdvanced degree or certification in engineering/project managementExperience supporting or leading planning and development of capital refurbishment projects for a large fleet of facilitiesExperience in managing process and program deployment across multiple facilities and stakeholdersExperience in interfacing with cross-functional teams for mission critical facility operations, particularly in engineering, project management, shutdown planning and CapEx forecastingFor those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click here for additional information.
