Responsibilities:1. Supplier EngagementOwn and manage company policies regarding supplier segmentation, how suppliers engage our various systems, and the frequency of updating segmentationOwn and manage strategies with regards to diverse suppliers to develop and maintain a robust, nationwide network of solutionsEngage with the purchasing function within Procurement for divisions of responsibility of supplier managementCollaborate with the ESG team to continuously improve sustainability efforts across the companyProvide leadership for various third-party audits and assessments (e.g., EcoVadis)2. Diverse Supplier ReportingServe as the point of contact and subject matter expert for procurement related topics as well as supplier diversity initiatives, internally and externallyResponsible for all internal and external supplier diversity reportingCoordinate with Procurement Analytics to source and compile supporting report dataEnsure timeliness and accuracy of reportingPromote standardization of reporting across all regions and customers3. Support OperationsServe as key point of contact in meetings with customers regarding diverse suppliersCritically assess the perspectives of Operations Leaders and established views regarding diverse expenditure across the organizationDevelop methodologies or policy supporting the bid process with regards to anticipated spend with key vendors in regionsManage supplier development / strategic partnership programs by business unit or region to strengthen the diverse supplier pipelineAct as a company representative at industry forums, meetings and conferences with other government agencies and segments of private industry.4. Investment OpportunitiesWork with Business Development and other internal resources to assess investment opportunitiesConduct due diligence on potential acquisitions and partnershipsServe as a thought leader for the company and industryRepresent the company at industry events like SSCA, etc.Qualifications10+ years of experience in progressively more responsible roles in Procurement and/or ReportingIndustry experience is a plusUndergraduate degree required; graduate degree in a relevant field (MBA or Sustainability) preferredDirect experience with building and reporting diverse supply programsFamiliarity with reporting platforms like Supplier.io, Power Advocate, etc. preferredAbility to travel to customer meetings and conferences as needed; anticipate between 25-50% travelSkills & CompetenciesExcellent leadership and people management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with external partnersStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
