Local Team Collaboration:
We are seeking a
daytime
rounder, part-time swing hospitalist, and a nocturnist
to join our large, diverse group of 34 physicians and two APPs at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas.
We work collaboratively with a healthy structure of work/home balance and try very hard to separate rounding duties from admitting.
We've fostered collegial relationships with the specialists. We pride ourselves on being a community hospital, but also quite capable of taking care of Level 1 trauma, acute CVA, and complicated heart issues.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine.
Family medicine trained physicians must have 2+ years of experience.
Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
Authorized to work in the United States.
We are only accepting practicing and licensed physicians for the daytime rounder role.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
The n octurnist
position hours are 7 pm-7 am.
The daytime rounder position hours are 7 am-7 pm.
Swing shift Tuesday-Monday, 4th week of the month; 5 pm-5 am with last hit at 2 am usually.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in training residents and medical students through the GME program.
No procedural skills are needed; our doctors are not expected to run codes.
Ability to deal with complex medical and social situations and have a patient-centered and caring mindset.
