Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Therapist to join our team at UCHealth. As a Respiratory Care Therapist, you will provide high-quality respiratory therapy in a fast-paced clinical environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

About the Role
  • Manage ventilator care and airway management while ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Precept new staff and foster continuous improvement and patient safety within the unit.
  • Work in a technologically complex clinical setting managing ventilator integration to adaptive pulmonary support and airway management throughout multiple levels of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure.
  • NRP obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU; tracked on unit.
  • PALS within 1 year if assigned to ED; tracked on unit.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
