Location: US: WI: MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

This position is eligible for a $15K Sign-On bonus

FTE: 0.900

Shift: Shift 1

4 shifts per week, 9 hour shifts. Admin/lead time built into schedule for time off floor.
Shift times may vary with start time 0700-0830 and end time 1630-1730.

There is also a call schedule rotation, which includes weeknights, weekends and holidays.

Job Summary:

Serves in the lead capacity for the Interventional Radiology (IR) department. Coordinates the daily operations of the IR department; maintains material/supply inventory; trains technical staff; conducts staff in-services. Maintains above average technical skills in all aspects of interventional radiology procedures; provides technical assistance to radiologists and other physicians; participates in research programs as needed/requested. Serves in a formal preceptor role to onboard new employees. Demonstrates flexibility, assists with scheduling, and staffing including weekend, holidays and call coverage (where applicable). Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of three years IR experience is required.
Five years of IR experience is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Graduate of an ARRT approved program in radiologic technology is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of basic computer skills; ability to operate ancillary equipment associated with performance of angiographic/NIR studies, image processing, patient monitoring, transport, safety, record maintenance.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT (R) registered and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
