Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets.About this roleThe Supervisor Field Service Engineering provides technical Building Automation Systems (BAS) support to the Project Teams and supervises the Field Control Engineers. The Supervisor Field Service Engineering collaborates with Project Managers to provide leadership and develop leadership skill in field commissioning activities and Field Controls Engineers. Responsible to develop and implement strategy project manpower planning in the field.The Supervisor Field Service Engineering will be working at our clients' sites in Reno Nevada and out of the Phoenix Arizona office.We value our people and offer an extensive benefits package, with financial rewards including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and also lifestyle support with flexible working and parental leave. Plus, we'll support your growth with paid-for external training programs and courses.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Field Control Engineers through training, scheduling, and performance reviewsMeasure team optimizing of time on projects and properly entering billing hoursEnsure proper documentation and communication to customers, subcontractors, and department managersOversee field project completion, and quality controlConduct interviews with potential field control engineers.Allocate resources and manpower in conjunctions with Project Managers and Branch Operations ManagersComplete required daily reports and field assessment reports for employees and projects.Provide technical assistance to team when neededBasic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years' experience in the HVAC controls or Building Automation fieldORAssociate degree with 2+ years' experience in the HVAC controls or Building Automation fieldORBachelor's degree with 1+ years' experience in the HVAC controls or Building Automation field1+ years for managing or supervising a technical teamValid and current Driver's License and can be insurable by company's insurance carrier.Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or commercial constructionProficient in Automated Logic software, such as WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, LogicBuilder, or similar softwareProficient in Microsoft 365 applicationsLeadership and ability to lead and motivate diverse teamsAbility to multitask various large and diverse challengesEnglish verbal and written communicationAdditional information:This position doesn't support immigration sponsorshipRSRCAR#LI-hybridPay Range:$76,516 - $107,122 AnnuallyCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
