You will be responsible for developing our SaaS web application's user interface and backend, while also contributing to other growth initiatives and product development efforts as needed.This will start off as a remote role that will eventually be hybrid in the Bay area.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codeImplement front-end components using React.js and Next.jsBuild and manage back-end services and APIs using Node.jsWrite clean, maintainable code and perform code reviewsCollaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design specificationsOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityTroubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high availability and performanceParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-upsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar roleStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including modern frameworks like React.js and Next.jsExperience with server-side languages such as Node.jsFamiliarity with TypeScript and its applicationsUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architectureKnowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, or similarExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentBenefitsWe believe AI will usher in a new era of human creativity, thinking, and innovation. You will build the user interface and backend for the latest machine learning technology. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, your primary role will be building our SaaS web application. You will also work on other growth initiatives and products from time to time.What you'll do:Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.Utilize and contribute to our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code with quick turnaround times and ownership/accountabilityCreate and maintain processes, policies, documents, and the implementation of underlying systems and technologies for application sustainment, security, and privacyEstablish and support patterns and architectures for our front-end, backend, future applications, and our multi-and-single-tenant instances across cloud providers/platformsAbout you:10+ years of both backend and frontend software engineering experiencePrior experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer or similar roleExperience with SaaS, marketing tools, creator tools, and/or machine learning products is a plusExperience with the entire product development lifecycle, including early-stageProficiency in ReactJS/NextJS/Typescript/NodeJSPrevious experience at rapidly scaling SaaS startupsBonus if you're based in the San Francisco Bay AreaCopy.ai is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
