Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Minimum Work Experience
Two or more years of recent RN experience preferred.
One year of hospital staff nurse experience required.
Additional Requirements:
Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after the hire date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
