Clinical Director Job DescriptionThe Clinical Director is responsible for monitoring the daily clinical operations of a single region/location of ABA Centers of America with approximately 100 clients. Each clinic provides services to learners who are receiving insurance-funded or private-pay funded services. The Clinical Director ensures there is a clear line of communication between Executive Director, Assistant Clinical Directors, BCBAs and other team members of ABA Centers of America.Responsibilities:Monitors 2 Assistant Clinical Directors, 14 BCBAs and a total of 100 clients in clinicEnsures the smooth transition of incoming clients and discharging clientsMonitors clinical team staffing schedules to ensure continuous delivery of authorized servicesMonitors operations of day-to-day services to ensure smooth service delivery between all providersLeads weekly BCBA team meetingsAttends various leadership meetings at the regional levelInterviews and hires new clinical staff of Assistant Directors, BCBAs and BCBA ApprenticesEnsures client satisfaction and quality service delivery at an organizational levelSupervises interns/apprentices seeking BCBA certification on a weekly basisEnsures BCBAs and RBTs complete and submits daily documentation of services in a timely manner regarding hours of service and services rendered for prompt billing to payorsIn collaboration with the Director of Training & Professional Development, provides team member and caregiver training and supportEngages in problem solving as scheduling and staffing issues arise in conjunction with the Directors of Operations and Executive DirectorEnsures delivery of clinical practices in accordance with the credentialing board's ethics codeProvides final approval of initial treatment plans, re-authorization treatment plans prior to submission to utilization department.Ensures that behavior plans are clinically appropriate and socially significantEducation/Experience:Master's degree in Applied Behavior AnalysisBoard Certified Behavior Analyst5 years' experience in ABA field (Preferred)ABA Centers of America CultureABA Centers of America is a supercharged environment propelled by collaboration through our philosophy: "Empowering Your Ambition." We encourage feedback on new and emerging systems and/or instruments that may promote more efficiencies and better performance.HIPAATeam members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information. Team members are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks.Reports all suspected violation of company's HIPAA policies or procedures to Human Resources.Environmental Stewardship and SafetyAll team members are responsible for preserving the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces tidy and to adhere to infection control protocols and policies.Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.Team Members excluded from Federal Healthcare Programs.ABA Centers of America operates facilities that receive federal funding and may not employ or contract with an individual or entity that has been excluded from health care programs (for example, Medicare or Medicaid). Accordingly, if a team member or agent has been excluded from or is under investigation and may be excluded, they must notify a member of management immediately.
