8am Tuesday morning and ends at 8am the following Tuesday morning
Attend treatment team at 8:30 am
Provider will meet with assigned patients and will stay on the unit typically until 5pm.
5pm call

Candidate Requirements:

Position Details:

What support staff is available - Hospitalist are consult as needed for Medical Management
Age of patients - 18+
APP Coverage: RN s: 2, PA/NP s: 1
Inpatient /Outpatient - Inpatient
Type of Charting /EMR - Epic
Rounding- Daily
Average Number of Admissions per shift:9-10
Number of beds: 19
EMR: Epic
The unit will call the provider for unit needs and potential admits. Provider will go over information and decide if the new admit would be appropriate for the unit and if appropriate, admit the patient. Staff will also call the provider for emergency needs for example if a patient is acting out and more medication is needed or a patient is acting out and needing to be secluded.
