Registered Nurse specializing in wound care provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process while adhering to clinical standards. Requires a valid nursing license in Kentucky, with a minimum of two years' clinical experience, and certifications in BLS and wound care preferred. The role demands critical thinking, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a diverse environment.

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Required Licenses Registered Nurse
Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status. Minimum Work Experience Minimum of two years in clinical experience in a hospital or our patient setting. Required Skills Certifications: 1. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date. 2. Wound Care, Medical Surgical, or home health certification preferred. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
