Urology Opportunity: Watertown, NY

Seeking a general urologist or urologist with interest in womens urology, andrology, advanced laparoscopy and/or robotics
Call: 1:4, serving one hospital
Established robotic surgery program since 2012, upgraded to da Vinci Xi in 2019
Office conveniently located 5-minute drive to hospital campus
In-office surgical suite for minor procedures
Catchment population: 250,000
Large network of providers offering a strong referral base
Serving the military men and women from nearby Fort Drum, home to the 10th Mountain Army Division
Emergency Urology admissions provided by Hospitalist Service, with consult to Urologist
Operating Rooms were newly constructed in 2010, block scheduling
Teaching opportunities are extended with accredited ACGME/AOA family medicine and internal medicine residency training programs

Package Highlights:

Annual salary: $550,000 year 1, plus WRVU productivity bonus
Annual Salary: $600,000, years 2-4
Signing bonus: $50,000
Education Loan repayment: $20,000 each year
Relocation reimbursement: $10,000
4-year contract

Qualifications:

Holds Board Certification with the American Board of Urology, or actively in process
Values patient-centered care and has desire to work within a team model
Demonstrates top-notch interpersonal skills in addition to excellent clinical skills
Able to provide surgical case log indicating active experience over the past two years
Enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best possible care and outcomes

Health Group is just that - the center for healthcare across the counties, cities, towns and villages of New York's North Country. Located in the City of Watertown in Jefferson County, Health Group is the largest provider of healthcare from Burlington, Vermont to Syracuse, New York - a total of 286 miles - catchment of 260,000 - with over 1,200 healthcare professionals. Diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, neonatal intensive care, a sleep disorders center, and many advanced surgical procedures are only a few examples of the services that set Health Group apart from most hospitals of similar size. Health Group postgraduate osteopathic training program also allows for teaching opportunities for those providers interested.
