Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse?is responsible for?collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited?to:?assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.??

What you will do in this role:?

You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and?monitor?vital signs.?

You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.?

You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.?

You will?monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as?appropriate utilizing?computerized documentation systems.?

You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.?

What qualifications you will need:??

RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.?

Bachelor's degree is preferred?

BLS?required?

Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from?non ICU?area?

Specialty certification preferred?

One to two years clinical nursing preferred??

ICU experience preferred.??
