Monitors and provides support to patients during the overnight hours. Job Duties

Monitors and ensures that patients are in their rooms on time and remain on their designated floor during overnight hours. Conducts room check at to ensure all patients are in their rooms. Responds appropriately to emergency situations. Utilizes daily log to communicate with other shifts and report events. Additionally, for any events that occur, leaves voice mail for key staff. To perform the above responsibilities, requires the Specialist to be awake during the entire shift, and to have current certification in both CPR and basic First Aid. Attends staff meetings, in-service trainings and supervision.

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
