What You Will Do:Our Staff Engineers are end-to-end owners. As a member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the scalability, performance, reliability, and visibility of Ventura TV OS' cloud services:Collaborate with application teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and efficient services and infrastructure.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize services and infrastructure for maximum availability and efficiency.Ensure best operation, security and compliance practices are defined and implemented. Who You Are:We are seeking a highly motivated software engineer with a passion for infrastructure to join the team:You have a sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects. You understand modern data-intensive systems, and have an interest in service's scalability, performance, reliability and visibility. Deep understanding of cloud services and Kubernetes is preferred but not required.You will welcome ideas that are different from your own, are also adept at identifying and evaluating trade-offs, willing to be proven wrong, and quick to walk through fire to support your fellow teammates.
