Risk Manager / Quality Coordinator RN

to lead initiatives in patient safety, quality improvement, and risk mitigation. This individual will also support employee health services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a full-time,

day shift

position offering a dynamic opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of healthcare and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the organization's

risk management program , including identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks to patients, staff, and the organization

Lead

quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI)

activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

Track, report, and investigate incident reports, patient complaints, and adverse events

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives

Conduct audits, root cause analyses, and staff education on quality and safety practices

Assist in

employee health coordination , including immunization tracking, TB screening, injury/incident follow-ups, and occupational health protocols

Ensure compliance with

infection control

and

workplace safety

standards

Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and institutional policies

Qualifications:
Current RN license

in the state of Georgia (required)

BSN preferred

Minimum 2 years of RN experience

in a hospital or healthcare setting (preferred)

Prior experience in

quality management, risk management, or patient safety

strongly preferred

Experience in

employee health or occupational health

is a plus

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA)

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead process improvements

Work Schedule:
Full-Time
