Well, this may be the role for you.As a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A, you will be hands-on with responsibilities over the full range of consolidating, planning, forecasting, and analysis activities, as well as finance transformation initiatives. You will work closely with the FP&A Director, finance CoE (center of excellence), central and corporate finance teams, business partners, and business unit management.WHAT YOU'LL DOWhat you can expect on a typical day:Operating Planning and Forecasting. You will create the annual operating plan aligned to the strategic plan and perform forecasting to provide visibility into business results to enable business decisions.Assist in the creation of revenue financial models to assist in the annual operating plan, review and validate assumptions, and ensure proper reconciliation and data integritySupport & build forecast models using key drivers, trend analysis, economic, and external factors, etc. and monitor the accuracy and predictability of existing modelsContinuously improves forecast accuracy by aligning to key drivers and identifying root causes of previous errorsRevenue Analytics. You will be responsible for governance and maintenance of Sources of Revenue (SoR) hierarchy.Build out hierarchy for sources of revenue accounts including the creation & deletion of accounts needed for all BUs across ADPStandardize calculations and definitions across common revenue driversExpand & streamline current governance of uploads for actuals, plan, forecast & operating plan cyclesManagement Reporting and Financial Close Activities. You will produce and distribute recurring and ad hoc management reports with responsibilities including financial reporting accuracy, partnering with shared services organizations, and ensuring an adequate control environment to mitigate financial and business risks in collaboration with process owners.Assist in driving the financial close activity and prepare monthly variance analysis on actual results versus plan/forecast ensuring data integrityParticipate in presentation preparation on results, forecasts, and plans to senior managementMake recommendations on opportunities/risks to senior management that need to be addressed to improve resultsProduce management reporting efficiently utilizing automation and technologyYou have 5+ years of experience in relevant data analysis and Excel modeling skills, gained and developed in a Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, or similar role.TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:Being able to think critically, including the ability to work within set guidelines but also being able to work within the "gray area" when historical trends do not produce reasonable results or projections.Being comfortable with an uneven work calendar where peak times of month-end close, forecast, and operating plan cycles may require working extra.Willingness and desire to continually learn every day as this role will require you to always grow your knowledge base.Exceptional and effective communication skills, including being able to challenge assumptions and drivers while also explaining your position on revenue metrics and drivers.You will have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.What are you waiting for?
