The Social Worker - Inpatient Psych acts as a coordinator of psychosocial assessment and discharge planning for the patients/clients receiving inpatient psychiatric services at the Hospital, providing leadership and psychosocial support necessary to address the individual's needs.
Job Responsibilities:- Coordinates psychosocial assessments and discharge planning for inpatient psychiatric patients.
- Provides leadership and psychosocial support to address individual needs.
- Utilizes knowledge of community and healthcare resources to assist with identified needs.
- Facilitates quality resource utilization to optimize length of stay and level of care.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
- Seasoned professional with 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Maryland Licensed LCSW license, LMSW candidates also considered.
