Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we're hiring 1:1 school nurses to work directly with a student in a school located in Rockville, Maryland.
1:1 School Classroom Nurse Contract Details:
$45 – $48.50 per hour
13-week contracts
This is a one-to-one nurse position to provide medical care to a student throughout the school day based on the student's medical diagnosis and care plan
Contract is for the current school year
The nurse will be expected to follow medical care plans and medical orders IEP/504 plans and provide effective and pertinent information to the special education team and student caregivers
Nurse will be expected to complete daily documentation
RN will be matched to student based on the nurse's medical acuity experience
1:1 school nurse position may include bus runs, field trips, care for students with certain health diagnoses/requirements such as but not limited to behavioral care, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, trach care, vent care, and g-tubes

Requirements:
Maryland RN License
American Heart Association BLS
Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
Supplemental Health Care will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable local, state, or federal law (including San Francisco Ordinance #131192, Los Angeles Municipal Code 189.00, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act).
