In this role, the individual will be responsible for providing support during Space payload assembly, integration, and test to full Space Vehicle Testing to customer-funded programs efforts within our Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) business unit of L3Harris Corporation. This position will support the test and integration effort for Space mission payloads development from program inception to test verification including sub-contract support. The Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify payload capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and sub-contractors for the full integration and test of the Space Vehicle system. The engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test and integration planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan. Our intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions serve a broad array of government, civil and commercial customers by enhancing information superiority, contributing to our national security, and providing actionable data for the protection of property and human life. We also provide solutions that map and monitor the earth for a variety of commercial and governmental users. Learn more about the space solutions we provide for government and commercial organizations here: capabilities/space Essential Functions: Responsible of generating system test documentation (e.g., Test Requirements Documents, Test Design Documents and Test Procedures) and directing support personnel in the day-to-day execution of the system test and integration readiness tasks for Space Payload and/or Space VehiclesSupport to all phases of the system Life-Cycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation and delivery) for Space Payloads and Space Vehicles SystemsResponsible for managing medium, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teamsExperience with RF measurements and testing, tools, and test equipment including but not limited to Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, O-Scopes, and RF Test EquipmentResponsible for supporting with the setup of specific test configurations, test procedures development, implementation, and checkout of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), test set software checkout, and analysis tools evaluation (as required)Support the test effort for lab setups and development of ground-based mission from program inception to test verification and deploymentSupport the root cause, troubleshooting, and corrective action process (as required)Travel as needed for post-delivery support and integration activitiesWork extended and weekend hours during I&T phases of the programQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable Engineering Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.4 years of experience working on aerospace/defense systems (space payloads, spacecraft bus, space vehicle integration with End-to-End Testing)Secret or Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance Preferred Additional Skills:LabViewExperience executing space vehicle hardware verification testing at acceptance, proto-flight and qualification levels for all relevant environments (vibration, thermal, vacuum, acoustics)Experience with Space Vehicle Bus testingExperience working with a multi-discipline technical teams (mechanical, structural, thermal, power, RF, Antenna, electrical, Systems) through all phases of program (initial concept, proposals, SRR, PDR/CDR, I&T, final sell-off)Experience integrating, testing and verifying small sub-assemblies into large, complex systems, with subsequent integration onto a host spacecraft ultimately composed of many independent payloads and sub-systemsExperience with Cosmos, Ruby, InControl or other Satellite/ Telemetry Tracking & Control (TT&C) Scripting languagesExperience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Perl, PuTTy, MobaXTerm, Visual Studio code) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environmentExperience with requirements derivation and tracking using DOORs (or equivalent) including requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM)Experience executing government or commercial, firm-fixed price development programs for spaceTeam-player, able to work in a large program and fast-paced environment#LI-TP1
