Qualifications and Requirements

MedStar Health is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our team. To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or formal training in an American Medical Association accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Job-related experience and/or successful completion of a formal MRI educational training program.
Licensure and Certifications
  • Successful Completion of either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI examination or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) examination within one year of date of hire for unregistered technologist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support).
